ST. FRANCISVILLE — Starting at 5 p.m. on Friday, a parish-wide burn ban will take effect in West Feliciana Parish.

The ban will remain in place until further notice due to ongoing extreme heat and arid conditions. 

West Feliciana's burn ban is the fourth such ban issued in the Capital Area, following bans in Tangipahoa, St. Helena and East Feliciana parishes.
