OXFORD, Miss. - Lane Kiffin's long-awaited return to Oxford has finally arrived as LSU takes on Ole Miss on Saturday night.

Ole Miss got on the board first midway through the first quarter with a 37-yard field goal to put the Rebels up 3-0.

On the ensuing Ole Miss possession, quarterback Trinidad Chambliss led the Rebels on a six-play, 78-yard drive capped by a 5-yard rushing touchdown from running back Kewan Lacy to extend the Ole Miss lead to 10-0.

With just under 10 minutes remaining in the first half, Ole Miss extended its lead to 17-0 as Chambliss connected with wide receiver Traylon Ray for a 21-yard touchdown.

LSU got on the board with just under two minutes remaining in the first half as running back Dillin Jones punched it in from two yards out to cut the Ole Miss lead to 17-7.

Ole Miss answered right back in the final seconds of the first half as Chambliss found wide receiver Deuce Alexander in the end zone for a 20-yard touchdown, sending the Rebels into halftime with a 24-7 lead.
