GEISMAR — Mid-State Supply has opened a new 10,500-square-foot warehouse in Geismar to bring electrical and industrial supplies closer to local businesses.

The company said the new location expands its presence in south Louisiana and responds to customer requests for a local supplier. Mid-State said the warehouse is meant to improve supply chain logistics and support production in the Capital area.

“When a customer needs a part to keep a crew working, the distance between that customer and our inventory matters,” said Dixie Mulhearn, business development manager at Mid-State Supply.
