Former LSU Tiger Trendon Watford signs with the New Orleans Pelicans for $2.9 million
NEW ORLEANS — Former LSU Tiger Trendon Watford has agreed to a one-year deal with the New Orleans Pelicans, according to a report by ESPN.
Watford, who plays as a forward, allegedly signed with the Pelicans for $2.9 million for the 2026-27 season. The 76ers previously declined Watford's $2.8 million proposal in June.
Watford previously averaged 6.5 points, 3.3 rebounds and 2.6 assists with 17 rebounds and 10 assists.
