YOUNGSVILLE — The FBI said Thursday that a man who was wanted for possessing child pornography was taken into custody. 

On Aug. 29, a federal arrest warrant was issued for 35-year-old Moses Steven Hernandez. On Tuesday, the FBI asked the public to help find Hernandez after he was last seen in Lafayette. 

The FBI said they received a tip about Hernandez's whereabouts. The agency said that he was seen in Youngsville on Wednesday around 3 p.m. Within 30 minutes, he was in custody.
