PAINCOURTVILLE –  Assumption Parish deputies have arrested a man accused of stealing guns from a home in 2024. 

Gary Lee Thomas III, 21, was booked on Jan. 17 with simple burglary of an inhabited dwelling.

The home in Paincourtville was burglarized nearly a year before. Several guns were stolen.

Travis Nathaniel Williams was previously arrested on the same charge and the two of them are accused of committing the burglary together, sheriff's records said.
