BATON ROUGE — The two left lanes of I-10 westbound are now back open after a crash near the Perkins Road exit.

According to Baton Rouge EMS, one person was transported.

SORRENTO — La. 22 is closed after an 18-wheeler crashed into a ditch near Panama Road in Sorrento. 

According to Ascension Parish deputies, the crash happened just before 11 a.m., and both Panama and Ernest Floyd roads are impassable at La. 22.

Deputies said to expect heavy traffic delays for the next several hours.

SORRENTO — I-10 eastbound was closed near the Airline Highway exit in Ascension Parish due to a crash with injuries on Thursday morning.

The crash was first reported around 6:37 a.m.

According to emergency officials, one person was injured with a nosebleed.
